The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Eswatini celebrated the occasion of the National sport day of the State of Qatar on Tuesday 11 February 2020, where the embassy held an open sports day at the sports facilities of the Royal Swazi Hotel located in the Ezulwini region near the Mission headquarters, in which all embassy staff and a number of senior officials in the Kingdom who accepted the invitation to attend and participate with their families participated in the event , Among the attendees were some important figures in the Kingdom of Eswatini :
- Mr. Leckina Magagula – Chairperson of the Senate the Kingdom of Eswatini
- Mr. Sibusiso Nxumalo, Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eswatini
- Mrs. Happy Dlamini, President of the Eswatini Red Cross
- Mr. Zitha Thembimkosi, the government representative from the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
- Mr. Sipho Zwane, Chief Inspector for the Ministry of Education and Training
- Several members of Parliament, the press, and representatives of civil society organizations also participated in the event.
The sporting day started with the event of walking and running, then there was an open sports hour where football and volleyball were played.
