Dos and Dont's

Do

  • Make sure you have a health insurance to obtain quality medical care services, preferably in South African companies covering the Kingdom of Swaziland.
  • If you are planning to visit the Kingdom of Swaziland or to stay there, you must register with the Embassy so that we can find you quickly if there is an unexpected crisis (God forbid).
  • Adhere to the guidelines and warnings in public and private facilities

Don’t

  • Avoid walking in the central areas of Mbabane and Manzini after dark, and traveling around in remote rural areas except in groups.
  • Always keep valuables processions in a safe place and avoid carrying large amounts of money or wearing excess jewelry.
  • Avoid traveling inside or outside Swaziland by land at night.
  • Never take pictures and photographs in areas of special nature such as military zones and police headquarters and be aware that some traditional activities require prior permission for admission and pictures taking.
  • Do not smoke in public places and public vehicles such as taxi and public transport.
